This tutorial will show you how to follow a wall with a single IR sensor, and two motors on the robot.... So if the bot is straddling a black line and both light sensors read white, the calculated difference will be close to zero and the robot will go straight. If one sensor is over black, the difference will be non-zero and the robot will turn one way or the other.

How To Use Two Sensors To Follow A Line
The Robot kit I’m building comes with three IR line tracking sensor modules. As with the other components, documentation is only available on the web. I have not found a source of information about how to use the sensors but it doesn’t seem to be that complicated.

In the following code, even if the first condition is met and you set both motors to 35, you will still check the second condition that if the sensor value of EyeLeft is greater than Left even though you already know the left eye value is the same as left.
