Firebrand takes the security and protection of personal data very seriously. We are committed to providing a compliant approach to data protection. We have always had a robust data protection program in place and we have reviewed this program to ensure that it will meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by 25 May 2018. When we process any personal data, we will do so according to the data processing principles of the GDPR.

As part of the review of our program, we have carried out the following activities to ensure that we will be GDPR compliant by 25 May 2018:

  • Review and update of our policies and procedures, including information security, data retention, data breaches, international data transfers and subject access requests
  • Review and update of annual staff training and awareness to ensure our staff are familiar with the GDPR requirements
  • Review of our information systems to ensure that data subject rights, such as the right of erasure or rectification of data, can be exercised within the appropriate timescales develop a record of processing activities

Any information which you give us via this website may be added to our Marketing database and will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. This database is used by Firebrand Training for the administration of our contacts for client administration, event and marketing related purposes.

We may, from time to time, send you information which we believe may be of interest to you, such as details of our products and services; newsletters, updates and special offers and invitations to our events. We will always allow you to remove yourself from our mailing lists each time we contact you.

We may use information which we hold about you to show you relevant advertising on third-party sites (e.g. Facebook, Google, Instagram and Twitter). This could involve showing you an advertising message where we know you are Firebrand Training website visitor or have used Firebrand Training products and services. If you don't want to be shown targeted advertising messages from Firebrand Training, some third party sites allow you to request not to see messages from specific advertisers on that site in future.


When we provide services, we want to make them easy, useful and reliable. Where services are delivered on the internet, this sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your device, for example, computer or mobile phone. These include small files known as cookies.
